The edding 4040 matt paint marker works wonderfully on porous surfaces and is ideal for creating bright, colourful designs on rough surfaces such as terracotta, wood and canvas. Its nib is smaller than the one from the edding 4000 matt paint marker, making these two pens a perfect set. Turn an unglazed vase, a flower pot or a wooden box into a little work of art. The pen is also ideal for art enthusiasts who want to let their creativity run wild on canvas, rough wall plaster or leather. Just like the edding 4000 matt paint marker, the edding 4040 writes particularly well on card and poster paper - light colours offer particularly good coverage and colour intensity.The matt paint marker has a 1 - 2 mm thick bullet nib. Its ink is water-based, odourless, abrasion resistant and opaque on many surfaces. It is available in 12 colours. To use this marker, simply shake firmly, then remove the cap and pump the pen’s nib carefully up and down on a piece of scrap paper until ink runs into the nib – then it is ready to use.
